mon produit culte: armani face fabric

Here's the product that reconciled me with complexion makeup! As I wasn't using that more foundations for ten years, I had left out in favor of mineral powders, easier to handle, I must say that the Giorgio Armani Fabric Second Skin Nude Makeup blew me away from the first application. I must admit that the makeup seller of Armani'stand at the Bon Marché has convinced me right away by finding at once the perfect shade for my complexion (the No. 4, while I was focused on the color above, the No. 5).

On the Face Fabric, here's the deal of the brand:
"Giorgio Armani translates his skills in texture and layering into his innovative range of cosmetic textiles, a wardrobe for face. Face fabric is a transluscent makeup with a 3D Micro-fil™ technology that brings lightness and fluidity to makeup, allowing superb blending and layering to enhance the natural glow of the skin with a velvety smooth finish. Face fabric is a very versatile foundation that can be worn alone, or combined with any foundation to sculpt or highlight the complexion."

I think Face Fabric has a super natural finish, lightly powdered, unifying enough but not covering at all.
This is the ideal foundation for a nude makeup, so discreet that does not see it. Provided you have a flawless complexion! Indeed, this product requires a prior perfect skin, flawless and perfectly moisturized. For this foundation does not hide imperfections, and would even tend to bring out small unsightly skin that have not been eliminated by a scrub. If the skin is already perfect, then what is the benefit of adding the Face Fabric, you say? Well, just to beautify the complexion by providing a unity of tone. And being far from having perfect skin, the Face Fabric is very easy to use, evens skin tone for a lovely nude effect and still manages to remove unsightly red areas.
It is even more perceptible when used with the right foundation brush (for me, the Sigma F80 is really perfect, but I will talk of this little wonder in a future post!), and slightly dusting the T-zone to avoid the bright effect of midday.

In summary, the Giorgio Armani Face Fabric is perfect for those looking for a natural and light complexion, a simple application, and a healthy glow on a matified skin.
